Nature has never failed to amaze me: from sunrise to sunset, all year ’round, from the tiniest to the largest of her creations.  That perfect dew drop at the tip of a blade of grass can evaporate in minutes and the next morning will not be the same.  Leaves and petals turn from one shade to another before they drop off.   Even the metamorphosis of an insect.  These changes will never be repeated exactly the same way each time.

This blog is an attempt to capture the beauty of that specific moment…the moment nature granted me the privilege to witness.

  1. Hi. I just discovered your photos as I was searching for images of milkweed, and your pictures are so beautiful that I wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed them. I am just beginning to get into macro nature photography, and I also wondered if you would share anything about how you take your pictures. I’m just always curious about how people get their images. Thanks

    1. Thank you for stopping in. I’m very happy you like the photos. I doubt that I can tell you anything that you don’t already know about macro photography. Rule of thumb is that a tripod is a must if you want a very sharp photo; a tiny bit of hand shake will ruin it for you.
